All classes follow the same sort of structure - Quick catch up on how we are feeling that day, then we begin with grounding, breathing and core awareness, followed by some gentler stretching before we move on to working the whole body! We finish with some more controlled stretching and then homework sometimes, before a little natter!
Wear clothing which is comfortable to freely move in. I would suggest refraining from wearing baggy clothing, so that I can check your alignment with more ease, however you are more than welcome to wear whatever you feel comfortable in - NO expectation or judgement here!
Feet - Now you are welcome to wear socks or no socks, however I would suggest you always bring a pair with you to class, incase you need assistance with sliding the feet!
You MUST wear socks if you have any skin condition, such as psoriasis, or any other foot condition such as athletes feet/ verruca etc. This is in the interest of hygiene, as although the equipment is disinfected after every use, it is an extra consideration for others and respect of my equipment.
Socks - As I mentioned just now, do bring a pair of socks, you may not need them though.
Towel - If you are a sweaty one and don't bring a towel, be assured I will ask you to bring one to your next class! Do bring a towel if you have trouble kneeling, as we can use the towel as a cushion if needed.
Water/Drink - Goes without saying!
Ears - HA! I'm being serious! I will be talking constantly throughout the class, so be ready to concentrate!
In Honiton, there is a car park to the front and to the rear left of the building, as well as ample on street free parking.
